Rifle Sets Program Record on Senior DayThe Army West Point Rifle Team set a program record in its 4695-4329 win over MIT in an NCAA qualifier match. The Black Knights set the record in aggregate score by three points while tying the record in the smallbore. The Black Knights topped MIT 2333-2120 in the smallbore with the Black Knights having the top-11 scores led by CDT Claudia Sigel ’24 (586). In air rifle, Army outscored MIT, 2362-2209. The Black Knights had the top-12 marks with CDT Lauren McMahan ’22 leading the way with a 593 score. Read more.

Great Weekend for Army Hockey

Army West Point Hockey completed its weekend sweep of Holy Cross with a 3-1 win led by a pair of goals from team captain, CDT Colin Bilek ’22. CDT Colin Bilek ’22 was awarded the Atlantic Hockey Association’s Player of the Week title. It is the third weekly honor awarded to Bilek by the conference this season, and the eighth Player of the Week nod for the team in 2021-22. Read more.

CDT Flowers ’22 Receives the Henry O. Flipper Award

Class of 2022 Cadet Zorian Flowers received the Henry O. Flipper Award during the Henry O. Flipper Dinner February 10 at Washington Hall. The award has been given out during Black History Month each year since 1977 to a firstie cadet who, like Flipper, persevered through unusual adversity during his or her time at West Point.
