Men’s Basketball Downs Holy Cross, Earns First-Round ByeMen’s Basketball secured a spot in the PenFed Credit Union Patriot League Championship Quarterfinals with a 66-58 win over the Holy Cross Crusaders to split the season series. An 11-3 run to close the first half by the Black Knights propelled Army in front as the Black Knights led for the rest of the game. Four of the five starters scored during the run with CDT Josh Caldwell ’22 scoring Army’s final points of the half on a layup after recording his program record 64th steal of the season. Read more.

CDT Kutz’s Individual Award Highlights Rifle at GARC Championships

CDT Kyle Kutz won the overall prone award as the Black Knights placed sixth overall in the 2022 Great America Rifle Conference (GARC) championships. Kutz won the overall prone with a 200-17x score in the position winning on a multiple tiebreaker with a 10.6 on his last shot and he finished 23rd overall in smallbore. Kutz was one of five Black Knights to score over a 580 in smallbore. Read more.

CDT Davis Excels at Winter Cup Finals

CDT Mathew Davis ’22 was tremendous at the 2022 Winter Cup Finals earning a place in the top 20 in four events, including the all-round. Against the best in the nation, Davis claimed sixth place on floor with a score of 13.200. The Firstie recorded a score of 76.300 in all-around scoring a total of 152.33 in the all-around from both days. Read more.
