Baseball Rallies Past PittsburghBehind a three-run eighth inning, the Army West Point Baseball Team grabbed a 5-3 victory over the University of Pittsburgh at Segra Stadium. Facing a 3-2 deficit, the Black Knights (2-5) first tied things up in the bottom of the frame when CDT Ross Friedrick’s ’23 RBI single drove in CDT Andre Walden ’22. The team then grabbed the lead after CDT Carter Macias ’22 roped a two-RBI double and CDT Hunter Meade ’22 skied a sac fly into center field, pushing the team to their final margin of victory. The Army West Point Women’s Lacrosse team notched its fourth straight win after upending the Monmouth Hawks, 18-13. The Black Knights outscored the Hawks, 5-2, the second quarter which created the separation to the win. Army struck early, scoring 34 seconds into the game on a goal by CDT Carleigh Armstrong ’24 for her first of five tallies. Then Armstrong and CDT Julia Gorajek ’24 made it 3-1 afte
