Golf Remains Ninth After Day Two at Bandon DunesThe Army West Point Golf Team continued the Bandon Dunes Championship, and the Black Knights remained ninth on the team leaderboard. Army shot a 301 (+17) in round two as a team on a tough course. CDT Tom Katsenes ’22 had Army’s best round on day two with a 1-over 72 to rebound from his first round. Read more.

Army West Point Football has announced the addition of Aaron Smith to the coaching staff, where he will work with the wide receivers. Smith returns to West Point, where he spent time as an adolescent and is a son of a retired Army Colonel who served as Garrison Commander at West Point. Read more.

Cadets on the Normandy Staff Ride

The Normandy staff ride is off to a great start! After a long day of travel, the cadets and faculty began the staff ride at Caen Castle by discussing the objectives of the pre-invasion bombing, the 48 hours leading up to the invasion, and the objectives of the operation. The annual Anderson Normandy Staff Ride is made possible by a generous endowment from Lee Anderson ’61 and his wife Penny.
