CDT Kovac ’22 Executes Subterranean Warfare Training Project

CDT Kyle Kovac ’22 traveled to Austria to conduct field research into subterranean warfare. CDT Kovac originated, coordinated, planned, and executed travel to Austria to observe subterranean warfare training in support of his capstone project. This trip was in support of his LN490 Capstone project. Opportunities like these are made possible by the Margin of Excellence.

Golf Fourth After Two Rounds of Shark Invitational

The Army West Point Golf Team was back in action at the Shark Invitational at Brookville Country Club and the Black Knights are in fourth place following two rounds. Army played the first two rounds of three and have a time score of 587 (+19). CDT Joshua Kim ’25 had Army’s best round of the day with an even par 71 during round one, including an eagle on the first hole. Read more.

Equestrian All Earn Ribbons at Regionals

Regional Championship 2022 is in the books. CDT Payton Derrick ’25 took the blue ribbon in walk trot. She and CDT Audrey Reeves ’25 will compete at Zones. CDT Blake Tonda ’25 took third in walk trot, a missed diagonal away from qualifying. It was bittersweet as it was the last IHSA rides for our firstie cadets Karissa Stubblefield and Ashley Merritt. Both rode great in their respective divisions.
