Pistol Places Second at Nationals, Seven Cadets Named All-Americans

The Army West Point pistol team traveled to Talladega, Alabama to compete in the National Intercollegiate Pistol Championships, hosted by the Scholastic Shooting Sports Foundation. The pistol team earned second-place overall and produced seven individual All-Americans. The first event was air pistol where the four- person team of team captain CDT Matthew Donze ’22, cadets Grace Seong ’23, Luke Braun ’23 and Jaden Beauchamp ’25 placed second with a score of 2,192. Women’s Tennis Blanks Vassar

The Army West Point Women’s Tennis Team got back into the win column at the Malek Tennis Center, defeating Vassar 4-0. Army built its lead early in the match and locked up the doubles point in dominant fashion. After a quick 6-0 win by Cadets Sam DiMaio ’22 and Julia Kelly ’25 at the No. 2 spot, the tandem of Cadets Paola Bou ’22 and Justine Dondonay ’24 defeated its opponents 6-1 on the top court

Sponsored by the Class of 1996, the “Firstie Social” provides First Class Cadets an opportunity to socialize, meet the WPAOG team, and learn about the WPAOG mission to serve cadets, graduates, and the Long Gray Line.
