Track & Field Puts in Solid Performances in Two Meets

The Army West Point Men’s and Women’s Track & Field Teams competed at the Bison Outdoor Classic hosted by Bucknell and the Larry Ellis Invitational hosted by Princeton. The Bucknell Outdoor Classic featured mostly those who compete in distance and power events. Distance runners’ mainstays Cadets Garrett Gough ’23 and Marshall Beatty ’22 finished 1-2 in the 500m, and CDT Caden Foster ’22 placed third in the 1500. CDT Matthew McNamara ’22 finished second in the decathlon with 6671 points winning three events. Read more.

Men’s Rugby Powers Past Running Eagles

Army West Point Men’s Rugby (13-1) powered past Life University in the USA Rugby D1A Quarterfinals, 39-18 at the Anderson Rugby Complex. CDT Koikoi Nelligan ’22 led the Black Knights with two tries while CDT Sean McNulty ’22 finished with seven points off conversions. Nelligan get the momentum going as he found the try-zone giving Army the 12-7 advantage at the 24th minute. Read more.
