CDT Schwarting ’22 Named Finalist for MA Sorensen Award

CDT Kaitlyn Schwarting ’22 of Army West Point Women’s Rugby has been named a finalist for the 2022 MA Sorensen Award. Schwarting is one of five players to be named a finalist for the award. The MA Sorensen Award is named after World Cup-winning prop, groundbreaking player and coach, and successful doctor MA Sorensen. Maryann Sorensen has been a huge part of the growth of women’s rugby since she started playing at William & Mary. Read more.

Softball Splits with Rams

Army West Point Softball split a doubleheader with Fordham bouncing back in the second game to win 3-0 over the Rams. CDT Brook Mitchell ’23 led the Black Knights with a .600 batting average and one run. Baseball Slugs Its Way Past Holy Cross

For the second-consecutive game, the Army West Point Baseball Team scored 15 runs as the program cruised to a 15-3 victory over Holy Cross at Fitton Field.
