Ruta Collects Patriot League Player of the Week Honors

After helping the Army West Point Baseball Team secure its first Star against Navy since the 2019 season, third baseman CDT Sam Ruta ’24 was named Patriot League Player of the Week. The yearling batted .583 opposite the Midshipmen and left the park twice while racking up a team-high five RBI. Ruta was 7-for-12 at the plate in the Star Series, presented by USAA, and additionally chipped in four assists from the hot corner. Read more.
