Cadets Graham ’22 & Schultz ’22 Win the Clark Innovation Award

The Capstone Team of cadets Heather Graham ’22 and Dominique Schultz ’22 won the coveted Clark Innovation Award. A first-time win for the Department of Behavioral Sciences and Leadership-Engineering Psychology Program, the award is for an innovative approach to solving a problem of direct application to the Army. Guided by Dr. Ericka Rovira, and Dr. Rob Thompson and supported by U.S. Army STRICOM, the team discovered training on women casualty training mannequins significantly changes first aid and survivability. The earliest the DOD expects to field woman mannequins is 2027.

Men’s Rugby Wins National Championship

Army West Point Men’s Rugby was crowned the D1A Men's Rugby National Champions after powering past Saint Mary’s 20-8 at Aveva Stadium, for the first time in program history. The last time a service academy won the D1A National Championship was in 2003, when Air Force won. Army took control of the game from the opening minutes. Nelligan was named the MVP of the game and Army outscored opponents 78-
