Special Olympics at West Point

It was a beautiful day for the more than 300 athletes participating in the 2022 Hudson Valley Regional Special Olympics at West Point on May 1. More than 100 cadets and community members volunteered as sponsors and escorts, while corps squad and competitive club cadet teams cheered on the athletes at the U.S. Military Academy Prep School.

Five Named to Men’s Lacrosse All-Patriot League Teams

The Army West Point Men’s Lacrosse program had five members named to All-Patriot League teams. Attackman CDT Brendan Nichtern ’22 and midfielder CDT Bobby Abshire ’22 earned first-team honors, while midfielder CDT Jacob Morin ’23, defenseman CDT AJ Pilate ’25, and short-stick defensive midfielder CDT James Pryor ’22 were second-team selections.
