Men’s Basketball to Play in Inaugural London Basketball Classic

The Army West Point Men's Basketball program will participate in the London Basketball Classic on November 24 and 26 inside the Copper Box Arena which was the London 2012 Olympic Basketball venue. Army West Point joins Princeton University, Northeastern University, and Manhattan College in the field. The London Basketball Classic is a four-team tournament hosted by Inspirus Sports Management. The Black Knights will take on Princeton on November 24, while Manhattan and Northeastern will play in the other semifinal. Read more.

ITA Recognizes Women’s Tennis for Academic Excellence

The Army West Point Women's Tennis program has been honored by the Intercollegiate Tennis Association (ITA) as an All-Academic Team. 2LT Caroline Vincent ’22 and CDT Sophie McKenzie '24 were named ITA Scholar-Athletes. Cadet Field Training Combatives

During Cadet Field Training, the Class of 2025 battled in close quarters at the combative pit in a best-of-platoon competition. The mission of combatives training is to instill the Warrior Ethos and to prepare cadets to defeat the enemy in hand-to-hand combat. The West Point Department of Physical Education (DPE) oversaw the competition.
