This week, new cadets learned how to safely conduct basic mountaineering, displaying grit by rappelling down a 75-foot cliff and climbing up the adjacent rock face. Task Force Leader from 1st Battalion, 187th Infantry Regiment, 3 BCT, 3rd Brigade Combat Team, 101st Airborne Division - Air Assault and rappel masters from The Sabalauski Air Assault School taught cadets how to belay for their teammates, climb, and rappel.
