Cross Country Posts Second Place Finish

Army West Point Women’s and Men’s Cross Country took home second place at Iona’s Meet of Champions at Van Cortlandt Park. Cadets Georgia Jones ’24 and Claire Lewis ’26 paced the Black Knights with a pair of top-five finishes. Jones made her presence known in her first meet of the season, posting a time of 18:25.3 in the 5k race for a fourth-place individual finish. Army West Point Men’s Cross Country led by CDT Garrett Gough ’23 who tabbed his first collegiate first-place finish.

Women’s Rugby Picks Up Road Win at Quinnipiac

Army West Point Women’s Rugby took down Quinnipiac by a score of 24-19 to improve to 3-0 this season. The first half was a defensive battle, with the Black Knights finally breaking through in the 20th minute after great build-up play from CDT Emma Richards-Smith ’23 led to a CDT Codi Butt ’23 try. Women’s Soccer Edges Lehigh at Home

Army West Point Women’s Soccer opened its Patriot League schedule with a 1-0 victory over Lehigh at Malek Stadium. CDT Kaitlin Palaian ’24 provided the goal in the 6th minute for the Black Knights, which proved to be the winner.
