Asian Pacific Forum Cadets Participate in the Pan Pacific American Leader and Mentorship Conference

History Department instructor, Captain Kevin Zhang led fourteen cadets from the Asian Pacific Forum to Washington DC where they participated in the Pan Pacific American Leader and Mentorship (PPALM) conference that occurred during the annual Association of the US Army conference. At PPALM cadets had the opportunity to interact with senior leaders such as the Undersecretary of the Air Force Gina Ortiz Jones, GEN(R) Eric Shinseki, and LTG(R) David Huntoon among many others. Cadets also visited many of the museum's housing some of our nation's greatest cultural and historic treasures in the capital, including the aircraft that GEN Benjamin O. Davis, and many other Tuskegee airmen first trained on. Out-of-classroom opportunities like this visit are made possible by donors supporting the Margin of Excellence.
