For the second consecutive season, cows Zac McGraw and Keenan O'Shea of the Army West Point men's soccer team collected United Soccer Coaches All-Region honors on Wednesday.
This news marks the 21st time in program history that the Black Knights had multiple Cadets receive all-region recognition. McGraw received first team honors for the second straight year, while O'Shea got the second team nod after being named third team all-region a season ago.
"Zac and Keenan are two of the best players in their positions in the college game and they have very bright futures ahead," head coach Russell Payne said. "Most importantly, they are selfless as teammates and as leaders. The school and soccer program are immensely proud of the successes they helped the team achieve this season."
McGraw, a three-time all-league performer and two-time All-Atlantic Region First Team selection, was a defensive stalwart for the Black Knights in his third year and aided the team in its run in the Patriot League Tournament. The Torrance, Calif., native helped the Cadets secure three shutout wins during the regular season and a pair of clean sheets in the tournament.
