The Army West Point Men's Tennis Team continued its hot start to the Patriot League season with two more wins Saturday at the Lichtenberg Tennis Center. The Black Knights (9-12, 4-0) claimed a pair of 4-0 sweeps over Lafayette and Loyola to remain undefeated in conference play. "The four wins were something that we needed for us," said Associate Head Coach, Randy Rowley.
"The schedule had been extremely tough and the guys accepted and embraced the fact that the teams we were playing were tough. All along we had seen the opportunities of things we needed to work on and now we have something to build on." Army earned its 13th and 14th doubles points of the season. David Mitchell and David Gorshein picked up two wins together for their 11th win as a pair this spring. Plebe Diego Huttepain won two singles matches on the day to give him seven on the year.
