USMA Model Arab League at NUMAL
Cadets of the USMA Model Arab League club traveled to Georgetown University in the nation’s capital to compete in the National University Model Arab League competition (NUMAL) representing the State of Libya. The Cadets debated in sessions of the Joint Defense Council, Council on Palestinian Affairs, Council on Political Affairs, Council of Arab Social Affairs Ministers, Council of Arab Economic Affairs Ministers, Council of Arab Environmental Affairs Ministers, Summit of Arab Heads of State, and a Special Council on Women and Children. The club qualified for the National University competition at the Northeast Regional Competition held in Boston, MA in November. Graduating members from the Class of 2019 include Jacqueline Parga, Patrick Cowan, Lauren Hudak, and Joel Macklin - their knowledge and experience will be missed. Cadet-in-Charge Anchor Losch and her leadership team are eagerly preparing for the upcoming 2020 season.
