Army Ultimate placed 3rd out of 12 teams in Hudson Valley Conference Championships. Army Beat Vassar College 11-5 in the first game of the tournament by scoring multiple breaks (turnovers) and playing solid offense on the defensive line. Army's second game against Hartford was the most difficult one. Although Army took half with two breaks (6-4), Hartford almost came back, and the game went to universe point which Army won 10-9. Saint Rose, was the weakest team Army played in the tournament, and Army was able to keep its defensive line in for most of the game and still win 11-3.
Wesleyan pulled out ahead 11-9. Because of the loss against Wesleyan, Army was the second team in the pool, and played Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute (RPI) in the next game. The winner of this game automatically received a bid to Regionals, and the loser had to play another game, only the winner of which got a seed to Regionals. Army was able to win the game 13-9, even though RPI made multiple questionable foul calls on the goal line, leading to turnovers in situations that should have been Army scores. For a team that did not make it out of the Conference last year placement in Regionals a large success.
