The Army West Point Golf team finished 11th in the first tournament of the season, which was at the Alex Lagowitz Memorial Invitational at Colgate. The Black Knights shot a team score of 302-294-303—899 (+35) during the two-day tournament. Cornell won the team title with an 880 (+16) team score. Rhode Island's Chris Francoeur was the individual champion at 7-under par for the three rounds. Cow James McKee was Army top golfer and finished in a tie for 16th with a score of 71-71-79—221 (+5). Firstie Justin Williamson moved up the leaderboard to 25th on the final day as he shot a 1-under par 71. Williamson posted four birdies in his final round and shot 3-under following a double bogey on his first hole of the day. Read more.
