Women's Rugby Cruises Past NDC on the RoadThe Army West Point women's rugby team hit the road for the first time this fall Saturday. The Black Knights (3-0, 2-0 NIRA) continued their hot start to the fall, cruising to 77-0 over Notre Dame College in a NIRA League match. The 77 points are a season-high for Army. It is the second highest point total in varsity history. Army has now won three straight against Notre Dame College and are 3-1 all-time against the Falcons in varsity 15s play.

A group of cadets scored their first tries of the season -- Alex DiMarco, Kaylee Cargile (first collegiate try), Nicole Wantlin, Rebecca Syrup, Natalia Rivera Rivera (first career try). Kaitlyn Schwarting scored two tries on the day -- her first two of the fall. Sam Sullivan dotted two tries on the day to give her four on the season. McKenzie Borchers scored a try of her own, chipped in six conversions, and added a penalty kick for 20 total points. Captain Bayleigh Gable had seven points with a try and a conversion.
