Fly Fishing on the Esopus River
The Cadet Fly Fishing Club had eight cadets visit the Esopus River in the Catskill Mountains, one of the "cradles of American fly fishing." The cadets were joined by volunteers from three neighboring Trout Unlimited chapters who helped the cadets during their fishing time. Several cadets caught their first trout and/or their first fish on a fly rod. The club is extremely grateful for Ashokan-Pepacton Watershed, Catskill Mountain, and Mid-Hudson Trout Unlimited chapters for volunteering their time and expertise.
