Kendo Takes 4th at Cornell Tournament in IthacaThe Army West Point Kendo team, led by CPT (P) Eric Muirhead, attended the 19th Annual Cornell Kendo Tournament in Ithaca, NY. West Point placed fourth in the Team Tournament. CDT Makoto Hotta of the Japanese Self-Defense Forces won silver in the Yudansha (Advanced Ranked Fighter) tournament.

Cadets Thatcher Shepard and Payton Boylston competed in the 2020 Ironman World Championship in Kona, HI. The race included the world's best triathletes and serves as the ultimate race in the sport. Both cadets excelled in their first full distance triathlon. Cadet Shepard finished in 11 hours and 20 minutes and posted the 49th fastest swim out of all 3000+ athletes.
