Climbing Trip to Shawangunk

Nine cadets and Four OR's went out to Shawangunk ridge for a day of climbing. The team set up five top ropes with climbing difficulties ranging from 5.5 – 5.10. Kendo Takes 4th at Cornell Tournament in Ithaca

The Army West Point Kendo team, led by CPT (P) Eric Muirhead, attended the 19th Annual Cornell Kendo Tournament in Ithaca, NY. West Point placed fourth in the Team Tournament. CDT Makoto Hotta of the Japanese Self-Defense Forces won silver in the Yudansha (Advanced Ranked Fighter) tournament.
