An overtime game-winning score by Sam Epitime highlighted the senior day festivities for the Army West Point Men's Soccer team on Wednesday night as the Black Knights bested Boston U., 2-1, at Malek Stadium at Clinton Field. Epitime had himself a day on the pitch for Army (5-7-4, 2-4-3 Patriot League), not only scoring his first career goal, but tallying the game-winner as well to cap his rookie campaign. The plebes had some help though as Keenan O'Shea, D'Anthony Brown and Jake Burgess each posted an assist.
The Black Knights held the slight edge in shots over the opposing Terriers (4-12-1, 3-6-0 Patriot League), 11-10. Army also generated six corners compared to four for Boston U. Epitime became the first plebe to record a multi-goal outing since Sam Millikan netted two against Holy Cross on October 28, 2018. O'Shea tallied his fourth helper of the year. The firstie finished with 60 points on 23 goals and 14 assists in his career. He ended his four-year career tied for seventh all-time in points, sixth in goals scored and tied for ninth in assists.
