West Point Women’s Handball competed in their home opening Northeast Team Handball League tournament. Tough losses from both West Point Black. West Point Gold showed the teams what they are up against this year against the club teams in the league. Of note, due to injuries, Cadet Rochleder '22, stepped up to play goalie for the Black Team and had several great saves. West Point Black lost by only two goals against both New York City and DC clubs. Historically these teams have been tough competitors with some very experienced players. Both teams will face these club teams again later in the semester and secure victories. This is the first of seven NTHL tournaments which provided both the Black and Gold teams with skills, tactics and strategies to work on and prepare for the upcoming collegiate level tournaments.
