
Explosive Second Period Lifts Hockey over Bentley

Thanks to three goals in the second period, the Army West Point Hockey team defeated Bentley 4-3 on home ice Friday night.
The Black Knights improve to 11-4-0 overall and 9-4-0 in Atlantic Hockey after their fourth win in a row.
Daniel Haider had a career night with three points on a goal and three assists. Anthony Firriolo netted his first-career goal in the effort and John Keranen produced a pair of assists.
Army charged ahead 11 minutes into the action with a goal by Haider from the doorstep. Bentley tied the game with 1:26 to go in the opening period, but the lead would not last for long. The Black Knights exploded in the second period with three tallies by three different goal scorers. Read more.
