The Army West Point Women's Lacrosse team handed Monmouth its first loss of the season after topping the Hawks, 12-9, on yesterday afternoon.
The Black Knights (5-0) got ahead early and never trailed in the game. It marks the second consecutive year that Army started a season with a 5-0 record.
Cameron Manor was at the front of the attack against the Hawks (3-1) as she tied her career-high scoring mark with four goals. The cow came off the bench and needed just five shots to tally her four scores.
Caroline Raymond also recorded a hat trick after putting in three goals. The Mahopac, N.Y. native, was heavily involved on both sides of the ball as she additionally dished out two helpers and caused a career-high three turnovers.
