The Army West Point Men's and Women's soccer programs have come to terms for a friendly doubleheader against service academy rival Navy.
The Black Knights and Midshipmen will announce the date, time, and location in the coming months.
The official Star games are scheduled to be played in the spring of 2021.
“We are looking forward to the opportunity to face our rivals this fall,” said Adrian Blewitt, Army women's soccer head coach. “The team is hungry to compete, and we will continue to elevate our game to the next level in our preparation. No matter the circumstances, I know the team's spirit and desire to perform will motivate us as we continue our training.”
“We are grateful on many levels for the opportunity to compete and play this fall,” said Russell Payne, Army men's soccer coach. “Our goal in playing this game is to honor and represent the best efforts of all those that have worked hard to allow us to be in this position to compete and pursue excellence.”
