Cannon ’86 Named Finalist for NFL’s Salute to Service AwardSteve Cannon ’86 is one of three finalists for the NFL’s 10th annual Salute to Service Award presented by USAA. The award recognizes exceptional efforts to honor and support members of the military community.

Cannon is the CEO of AMB Sports & Entertainment, which includes the Atlanta Falcons. He is co-founder of the nonprofit organization Johnny Mac Soldiers Fund, a Class of ’86 initiative to honor military service and sacrifice by providing scholarships to children of our nation's fallen or disabled. Steve’s leadership on the Johnny Mac board of directors has propelled the organization to award over $20 million in scholarships in less than 7 years.

He is involved in several other military support endeavors.

The Salute to Service Award recipient will be recognized at NFL Honors, a primetime awards special to air nationally the Saturday before Super Bowl LV. Read more.
