InterMat Preseason Rankings Feature Four from WrestlingThe Army West Point wrestling team had four cadet-athletes featured in InterMat’s NCAA Division I Preseason Rankings, as PJ Ogunsanya (149 lbs.), Markus Hartman (157 lbs.), Ben Pasiuk (174 lbs.) and J.T. Brown (197 lbs.) were all tabbed in their respective weight classes.

Each member of the quartet returns to this year's team after qualifying for the 2021 NCAA Championship. Additionally, Ogunsanya and Pasiuk enter the year as the reigning EIWA Conference Champions at 149 lbs. and 174 lbs., respectively.

“Those guys are leaders on the team and leaders on the mat,” head coach Kevin Ward said. “All are NCAA qualifiers with championship experience, and we are looking forward to them leading the way for our team this season.”

Pasiuk had the highest overall ranking within his class, checking it at No. 15. Both Ogunsanya and Brown landed at No. 20, while Hartman was slotted 21st. Army is the only service academy to place three student-athletes 20th-or-higher, as Navy had two and Air Force had one. Read more.
