Cross Country Claims Army Open TitleThe Army West Point Men’s and Women’s Cross Country both finished first at the Army West Point Open.

The Black Knights posted the top-seven finishers led by Alexandra Gibbs (20:45.3). She was followed by Thorin Jean (20:47.4), Dominique Shultz (20:48.9), Sarah Grodin (20:52.5), Katherine Kopotic (20:54.3), Evie Bell (21:07.2), and Joanna Halfhill (22:25.2).

The Army Black Knights finished first at the Army West Point Open on Friday afternoon.

Plebe Caleb Bender won the race (24:35.6) in a meet where the underclassmen shine. Classmates Spencer Bush (25:29.0) and Gabriel Nichols (25:41.3) placed third and fourth, respectively. Gregory Langone was sixth and was followed by yearling Gideon Rothschild. Plebe Christopher Verdugo finished ninth.
