Men’s Tennis Concludes Strong First Home CompetitionPlaying on its home courts for the first time this season, the Army West Point Men’s Tennis Team wrapped up play hosting the two-day Army West Point Shootout. Thomas Lake and Nathan Jose picked up wins in the singles portion against the Monmouth Hawks. Both Lake and Jose had their matches decided in a super tie-break. Lake won 6-1, 5-7, 10-7, and Jose won his match over Trent Massam, 3-6, 6-1, 10-6. The Black Knights won six of their eight matches against Bryant. Diego Huttepain, Peter Hatton, and Paul Robets won in straight sets. Eden Samuel, Jake Huarte, and Daniel Zhou all persevered in super tie-breakers. Army went 6-2 in singles against NJIT. AJ Woodman, Peter Hatton, Jake Huarte, JJ Henderson and Vishnu Bodavula all won in straight sets. Read more.
