Men’s Soccer Shuts Out Holy Cross on Senior Night, 2-0
In their final game at Malek Stadium as Black Knights, the Army West Point Men’s Soccer Team senior class led the way in a 2-0 defeat of Holy Cross. The Cadets picked up a critical win in conference play, defeating the top team in the Patriot League and earning three points with the result. John Poncy and Jake Burgess scored goals and Jacob Suppiah cleaned up the only two shots he faced to lift the Black Knights to the win. Army jumped on the attack early, per usual, working the ball in the Crusader half after the first touch. Cooper Warren fired off the first shot of the game that was just off the right post. Read more.
