Volleyball Sweeps Bucknell on the Road
Army West Point Volleyball (14-6, 8-3) secured the sweep after downing Bucknell (6-14,2-9) in three sets at Davis Gym. Army was strong on defense with two solo blocks and 12 block assists to hold the Bison to a .098 hitting percentage after three sets. Paige Fixemer played a big role in the wall at the net, recording one solo block and four block assists. Diana Ethridge also helped on the defensive end recording 10 digs while notching 27 assists for her seventh double-double of the season. The Black Knights' offense got the job done with help from Cate Buckingham, who led the team with 11 kills, and Fixemer who notched nine kills. Savannah Bray also played a role adding on eight kills.
