Golf Finishes Third at Shark Invitational

The Army West Point Golf Team finished the Shark Invitational in a tie for third on the team leaderboard. Army had a team score of 293 (+9) on the final day of competition and ended up 28-over for the tournament. CDT Tom Katsenes was Army’s top player at 6-over and ended up in a tie for 11th on the leaderboard. Read more.

Equestrian All Earn Ribbons at Regionals

Regional Championship 2022 is in the books. CDT Payton Derrick ’25 took the blue ribbon in walk trot. She and CDT Audrey Reeves ’25 will compete at Zones. CDT Blake Tonda ’25 took third in walk trot, a missed diagonal away from qualifying. It was bittersweet as it was the last IHSA rides for our firstie cadets Karissa Stubblefield and Ashley Merritt. Both rode great in their respective divisions.

Sixteen Earn ECAC All-Academic Honors from Men’s Gymnastics

Army West Point Men’s Gymnastics had 16 cadets represent the program on the Eastern College Athletic Conference All-Academic Team. The team includes all student athletes who have a cumulative 3.0 GPA. CDT Adam Elahmadi ’24 led the Black Knights with a cumulative 3.895 GPA. Four plebes earned academic recognition for their strong first semester performances in the classroom. Cadets Declan Henriques
