Cadets Conduct a Thin Wall Pressure Vessel Lab

Cadets enrolled in MC364, Mechanics of Materials, conduct a thin-walled pressure vessel lab. The cadets mounted a strain gauge rosette on a soda can to measure the pressure in the can. A time-honored CME tradition the soda was paired with the most delicious thin-walled pressure vessel, hot dogs.

Army West Point Men’s Rugby (13-1) powered past Life University in the USA Rugby D1A Quarterfinals, 39-18 at the Anderson Rugby Complex. CDT Koikoi Nelligan ’22 led the Black Knights with two tries while CDT Sean McNulty ’22 finished with seven points off conversions. Nelligan get the momentum going as he found the try-zone giving Army the 12-7 advantage at the 24th minute. Read more.
