Cyber Policy Takes Second

The West Point Cyber Policy Team competed in the annual National Security Agency (NSA) Cyber Exercise (NCX). The NCX consists of several modules ranging from cyber policy to cryptography. Cadets from West Point’s Competitive Cyber Team, Cyber Policy Team, and other cadets from across multiple academic departments fought for this year’s trophy. The competition includes cadets from all Service Academies and Senior Military Colleges and is designed to test their technical and analytic skills, teamwork, planning, communication, and decision-making. Overall, USMA placed second out of 10 total teams, falling just behind Air Force but well ahead of Navy! Participation in events like these are made possible by donors supporting Margin of Excellence opportunities.
