Women’s Tennis Set to Face Princeton in First Round of NCAA Tournament

The Army West Point Women’s Tennis Team will face off against Princeton in the first round of the 2022 NCAA Tournament. The Black Knights (25-9, 5-2 PL) and the Tigers will play at 10am May 7 on the campus of No. 5 Virginia. On the other side of the regional bracket, the Cavaliers will take on Youngstown State. Army will be making its 16th appearance in the NCAA Championship and first since a 2019 trip to No. 10 Washington. Read more.

CDT Gibson ’22 Named Patriot League Field Athlete of The Week

CDT Jamir Gibson '22 has been selected for the third consecutive week as the Patriot League Outdoor Track and Field Athlete of the Week. Gibson, the lone competitor representing the Black Knights at the Penn Relays, finished third in the discus throw after his last heave landed 59.04 meters. The toss set a program and service academy record while ranking first in the league and 15th in the nation.

GEN Milley Class of 2022 Commencement Speaker

West Point is excited to announce GEN Mark A. Milley, Chairman of The Joint Chiefs of Staff, will serve as the commencement speaker at the Class of 2022 graduation ceremony on May 21. Throughout his career, Milley has had multiple command and staff positions in eight divisions and special forces throughout the last 43 years.
