CDT Gibson ’22 Named Patriot League Field Athlete of The Week

CDT Jamir Gibson '22 has been selected for the third consecutive week as the Patriot League Outdoor Track and Field Athlete of the Week. Gibson, the lone competitor representing the Black Knights at the Penn Relays, finished third in the discus throw after his last heave landed 59.04 meters. The toss set a program and service academy record while ranking first in the league and 15th in the nation. Gibson holds the service academy record in the indoor shot, indoor weight, and the discus.
