Army West Point Baseball’s CDT Tanner Gresham ’24 was named Patriot League Pitcher of the Week. The sophomore earned two saves in a pair of scoreless appearances against Bucknell to help the Black Knights claim the Patriot League regular-season title. In his first outing, he struck out one batter to help the Cadets secure a 3-1 victory over the Bison in the opening game and finished the weekend by closing out the team’s 6-5 win. Read more.

The Army West Point Baseball Team downed LIU by a score of 7-2 at Johnson Stadium to earn its 10th home win of the season. Army (23-20, 15-6 PL) put up six unanswered runs in its defeat of the Sharks while tallying double-digit hits (11) for the 19th time this year. CDT Gibson ’22 Named Patriot League Field Athlete of The Week

CDT Jamir Gibson '22 has been selected for the third consecutive week as the Patriot League Outdoor Track and Field Athlete of the Week. Gibson, the lone competitor representing the Black Knights at the Penn Relays, finished third in the discus throw after his last heave landed 59.04 meters. The toss set a program and service academy record while ranking first in the league and 15th in the nation.
