Cadet AIAD with Thornwillow

Cadets completed an Academic Individual Advanced Development (AIAD) working with the publisher Thornwillow and learning about the process of publishing and manuscript-making. The AIAD culminated in a final project of hand-crafting manuscripts of Tim O’Brien’s “How to Tell a True War Story.” Out-of-classroom opportunities like this are made possible by donors supporting the Margin of Excellence.

CDT Broughton ’23 Nominated for Allstate AFCA Good Works Team

CDT Marquel Broughton ’23 has been nominated for the 2022 Allstate AFCA Good Works Team. The nominees are 114 student-athletes across college football that demonstrate exemplary community service, academic dedication, and an impact on and off the field. Broughton, a two-time captain entering his final season at West Point, had a career-high 80 total tackles and three tackles for loss last season.
