The Army Black Knights secured a straight-set win over rival Navy in the annual Army-Navy Star Series. The Black Knights showed great resolve, technique, and power as they defeated their archrival in front of an electric crowd. In the opening set, Army trailed 5-1 but scored nine of the next 12 points. With the 49-10 victory over the Villanova Wildcats, Head Coach Jeff Monken logged his 59th career win at Army West Point, breaking the tie and surpassing the legendary Charles Daly for No. 2 on the Academy’s all-time win list. Monken, now only trails Earl “Red” Blaik (121 wins) in program history. On the afternoon Army dominated by way of the ground game, stacking up 472 total rushing yards, marki
