The Army West Point Gymnastics Team ranked fourth after the first day of College Nationals with a 383.200 score. Cole Casanova placed second in the all-around after turning out a 77.400. Three Cadets advanced to Saturday's individual finals. Mathew Davis qualified on floor exercise and still rings, while Casanova and Erik Del Cid will represent Army on vault. Casanova was the Black Knights' top all-around competitor with an 77.400. The Black Knights posted their fourth-best vault score of the season with a team 69.650. Davis was the Cadets' leader on floor exercise (13.950) and still rings (13.300). Casanova notched a 14.200 on vault, a team best. Matthew Martin had a team-best 12.400 on pommel. Leading the squad on parallel bars was Casanova, Davis and Elijah-Ty Phelps. All three competitors had a 12.450. On high bar, Rex Scott and Casanova each earned 12.400 pacing Army on the apparatus.
