The Army West Point Volleyball team won its tenth game of the season in a non-conference matchup with Marist on Tuesday.
Playing in their third match in five days, the Black Knights (10-5) bounced back from a tough loss on Saturday to knock off the Red Foxes in straight sets 3-0.
"I thought we did a great job in the first two sets," Head coach Alma Kovaci Lee said. "We were focused, we were determined, and we took care of the ball. You have to give Marist credit for fighting back in the third set with their serves. But I like when the end of the match gets tight and we are forced to finish off a team like that. I am proud of the team."
Army relied heavily on a strong serve game, posting 10 aces in the match. Libero Ana Oglivie was at the forefront, recording a career high five aces to go along with her match-high 10 digs. Read more.
