Army Chess Defeats NavyThe Army Chess Team traveled to Parsippany, NJ to participate in the 50th World Amateur Chess tournament. The U.S. Team East played in 5 of the 6 rounds. Round 2 was on "Board 1" where Army defeated Navy 3-1.

The Army West Point Softball team won both games in its doubleheader against Niagara yesterday. The Cadets (13-9) claimed the first game 12-1 in five innings, then topped the Purple Eagles 10-1 in the second game, which was also decided in five innings.
