The Army West Point Equestrian Team earned an impressive overall reserve championship at its IHSA competition recently. The team traveled to the Centenary University Equestrian Center in Long Valley, NJ to compete against highly competitive colleges in the Northeast region. With top three finishes in multiple categories of competition, the team truly rode to excellence. The combined efforts from all team members contributed to the team’s outstanding overall placing and success.
Some of the most notable placings were as follows: Anna Jerald ’21 earned second place in her open flat class, Madyson Paul ’21 earned second in her intermediate flat class, Cira Wolf ’20 earned third in her limit flat class, Victoria Kearns ’22 won her novice flat class, Denali Jackson ’20 earned third in her pre-novice class, Caneel Dixon ’20 won her introductory class, Kate Patterson ’23 earned second in her introductory class, and Natalie Block ’23 earned third place in her introductory class.
