Cadet Summer AIAD in Brasov, Romania

Cadets Claudia Schuh ’23, Liam Dowd ’23, Evelyn Pickett ’23, Dylan Lyons ’24, and Jazmyne Drake ’23 just returned from a community service focused Academic Individual Advanced Development (AIAD) study in Brasov, Romania, with Projects Abroad. Over the three-week trip, the group helped renovate a family's home in the Roma community, teach English to Ukrainian refugee children, volunteer in an animal shelter, and work with disadvantaged kids in a local daycare. Out-of-classroom opportunities like this are made possible by donors supporting the Margin of Excellence.
